Providenciales Optimist Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the Youth of the Turks & Caicos Islands. Through the generous donations , fundraising efforts and volunteers in the community , we have been able to establish ongoing projects such as :

• Love in Action Breakfast Program - providing breakfast to 500 children who would otherwise start the school day hungry.
• Purchasing Computers, Teaching Aids, Science Lab equipment and gives donations to schools in need.
• Essay contest with winners eligible for scholarship funds up to $5000
• Sponsor A Child - providing one-on-one tutoring to children with learning difficulties
• Food Bank - donations from local food stores for Churches to distribute to their congregation and community
• Christmas Toy Drive - toys , food and clothing to families who would otherwise do without
• Kids Library
• May Fair
• and more to come ..........

Without VOLUNTEERS to help carry out our programs and to assist with fund-raiser events the Optimist Club would not be able to continue the substantial financial presence in the community. Our club works for children and who better to help us understand their needs than principals, teachers and parents.
